This requisition is for current Training Officer / Ops Support incumbents at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX supporting the work that will be transitioned to the ALICE contract.

Deployment Planning
  • Overflight clearances
  • ORR presentation development
  • FAA long-lead liaison for domestic science missions and Palmdale motherhood (R2508/Closed tower ops training, etc.)
  • OMG and general international liaison WRT airspace and coordination
  • Travel Coordinator - Work with the secretaries and Project Pilots concerning travel dates, which hotels, who gets rental cars, etc.
  • Long Range Schedule manager
  • Export Control
  • IRC
  • Water survival coordination with the Navy
  • Land survival
  • CRM
  • CBT development
  • Simulator planning
    • Development/maintenance of T-38 sim profiles for EP and CRM
    • Coordinate with CAE/FSI training date schedules got GIII/GV aircrew
  • Oversight for the various T-38 syllabi:
    • ASCAN Initial Training
    • ARCQ
    • Astronaut requalification (post ISS)
    • Proposed “back to the basics” syllabus
    • Proposed RCQ FCP syllabus
Pubs Officer (FLIP)
  • iPad loading and tracking
  • NGA disks
  • International paper pubs (if we keep them)
  • OPS rep for the Universal FMS navdata account
  • OPS ForeFlight and Jepp account manager
FAA liaison
P.E. Equipment coordinator
Education: AA or BS in Related Field
Discipline(s): Training / Operations Support
Year(s) of Experience: 5+ years in NASA or DoD Aircraft Environment
