JOB DESCRIPTION
This requisition is for current CAD Designer incumbents at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX supporting the work that will be transitioned to the ALICE contract.
- Responsible for the creation, control, correctness, & accuracy of drawings, CAD models, bills of materials, & drawing change notices.
- Works from sketches, models, and verbal information supplied by an engineer or technician to prepare complete drawing packages.
- Checks designs and drawings to ensure the accuracy of all drawing views, sections, dimensions, tolerances, part number callouts, notes, bills of materials.
- Ensures drawings are compliant with NASA and industry standards such as ASME Y14.5 and that drawings comply with NASA configuration control requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: AA or BS in Related Field
Discipline(s): Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Structural
Year(s) of Experience: 7+ with AutoCAD and 3+ with CREO in Aircraft or Aerospace Environment
